Atlan: a Latin “spin-off” of classic geometric sans-serif typefaces. Drawing inspiration from typefaces such as Rudolf Koch’s “Kabel” and taking into account today’s design needs, “Atlan” was born—a simple, elegant, and attractive typeface. This typeface is based on highly expressive geometric sans-serif fonts from the 1920s. We set out to reinterpret these characteristics—without losing expressiveness—to create a functional and versatile design. The result is a display font well-suited for clear, solid-color text. The family offers a variety of styles, ranging from the elegant Thin weight—ideal for publications and corporate websites—to the Heavy variant (perfect for logos and packaging), which highlights the typeface’s stylistic elements.
