Designed by Daniel Hernández and Paula Nazal, with digital editing by Elizabeth Hernández. Proofreading and editing by Alfonso García and Rodrigo Fuenzalida. Boston is a typeface with slightly rounded edges, inspired by “Trenda”—a geometric sans-serif based on the uppercase letters of “Tendencia” (a Latinotype font released in 2013 that was very well received). This new typeface comes with a broader character set that offers a complete family of uppercase and lowercase letters in various weights. Boston is a versatile, user-friendly, and functional screen font with a strong personality—especially in its uppercase letters—which makes a designer’s job easier. The lightest and heaviest variants of Boston are ideal for on-screen use, while its medium weights work well with short and medium-length texts. This typeface has been specially designed for corporate projects, logos, and publications. Boston is available in 8 weights, from light to bold, and includes matching italics, as well as small caps and alternates. The family contains a character set of 634 characters compatible with 206 different languages.
