The Envelove typeface family represents a milestone in contemporary gestural typography, born from Yani Arabena’s spontaneous exploration with a nib and India ink. Unlike systems based on formal calligraphic models, Envelove is guided by the rhythm, feel, and emotional intent of the word. Academically, the project stands out for having “crossed the barrier” between personal passion and professional practice, systematizing a carefree writing style that preserves the sensation of metal against paper. It is a polyphonic suite that invites designers to rediscover the ritual of physical correspondence, transforming the digital environment into a space of warmth and artisanal authenticity.
