Glodok is a display single weight typeface. It is bold, heavy, and fun to play around with. It’s eye catching but also blend well when being put in the design. It’s retro-inspired and has a nice balance between formal and playful.
The name itself comes from the oldest Chinatown in Jakarta and also considered the biggest in Indonesia, the place where the designer took many inspirations from.
