La Peste is a text typeface for the mexican magazine of literature, illustration and photography of the same name. It consists of 2 weights and 4 styles, covering the Latin A Extended glyph set by unicode. It is inspired by the medieval woodcuts that illustrated the so-called "Ars Moriendi" which were instructions for the moment of death. They were written during the time of the Black Death in Europe.
