Jicaleta is a typeface for long texts on screens. It is a collaborative project of Karen Cartas, Pepino Meléndez Quintana, Erika Varela, Manuel López Rocha and Javier Alcaraz for the First Letrástica Comunidad Typographic Tournament.
The goal is to design a font to be used in the digital realm that meets the demand for open source typographic resources for non-profit social and community projects.
