The typeface developed for the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) was created in 2014 as part of a collaboration with the Mexican studio Enigma, with the purpose of providing the institution with a solid and functional typographic identity. The system is composed of five variants: IMPI Display, designed for titles; IMPI Regular Text, Italic Text and Black Text, oriented to the composition of long texts with clear hierarchies; and IMPI Micro, optimized for legal texts and security elements in minimum sizes. This family responds to the diverse requirements of institutional communication, from printed and informative materials to official documents. All variants include figures, editorial signs, diacritics, monetary symbols and mathematical glyphs, which guarantees their technical functionality and adaptability to specialized contexts. IMPI's typography thus constitutes an integral resource that reinforces the visual presence of the organization with rigor and efficiency.
