The typographic proposal developed for the identity of this project is based on a formally dynamic and modular approach. Starting from the grotesque Lab Grotesque family of Letters From Sweden, a constructive system was implemented based on a grid of dots that, in addition to articulating the morphology of the glyphs, serves as the basis for the incorporation of four distinctive icons. Each icon -corresponding to the base, the protein, the toppings and the toppings of the dish- operates autonomously but retains formal coherence by aligning with the punctuated structure of the typography. The facial features of the icons were designed in strict adherence to the geometry and proportions of the typographic system, ensuring a harmonious synthesis between typography and iconography. The resulting logo displays typographic variants that exploit the inherent versatility of Lab Grotesque, enhancing its legibility and expressiveness in different application contexts. This typographic solution evidences a balance between functionality and personalization, while reinforcing the concept of mixing and modularity inherent to the poke culture.
