Note. Specimen of the typeface Amster. Copyright by Pampa Type.

Amster is an energetic and precise typeface created in Chile by Francisco Gálvez. Designed with a clear vision of how refinement and austerity can be harmoniously combined, Amster creates text that blends readability and personality in an original, assertive, and serene way. Amster is one of the most comprehensive typefaces in today’s typeface industry. It features five weights in both regular and italic styles, all equipped with ligatures, all types of numerals, cursive characters with long and short swashes, contextual elements, symbols, smart ornaments, and more. For this reason, Amster is a highly versatile typeface that lends itself to use in a wide range of contexts: from screen to print, from small text to large display type, from science to poetry.
