The Blog Script typeface family, the result of a collaboration between Carolina Marando and Alejandro Paul, is presented as a critical response to the progressive dehumanization of the digital environment. In a visual ecosystem dominated by the austerity of sans serif typefaces—a symbol of sterile and impersonal connectivity—Blog Script emerges as an exercise in proactive nostalgia. The typeface seeks to reclaim “human heritage” through an organic morphology that celebrates exuberance and deliberate imperfection. Academically, this project lies at the intersection of technology and the anthropology of design, using the digital environment to reaffirm the individualism and warmth of the hand-drawn line as vestiges of an identity that resists the simplification of the social future.
