The Bakery Script family is a tribute by the Argentine duo Koziupa-Paul to the effervescent aesthetic of the 1970s. The design process began with Angel Koziupa’s hand-drawn sketches, in which he used a gestural brush technique to define the outline variant. Alejandro Paul then proceeded with digital refinement, glyph expansion, and the extrapolation of the solid variant.

From a morphological perspective, the outline version creates an illusion of depth where the characters appear to emerge from their own cast shadows. For its part, the solid variant emphasizes the rhythmic dynamism and organic nature of the glyphs, which exhibit a visual cadence characteristic of informal lettering.

The typeface stands out for its balanced contrast between sharp angles and fluid curves. Thanks to the inclusion of a wide range of ligatures and stylistic alternates, Bakery Script stands out as a versatile solution for packaging design, nature and adventure literature, or any display design context requiring a typeface with an assertive yet accessible character.
