Aguas is a fountain inspired by the hand-painted signs found in Mexican food markets.
The first step in the design of Aguas was to define how the typography could move and what axes would be necessary to achieve this. Subsequently, the appearance of the letters was explored through manual drawing with a broad-tipped pen. Once the letters were digitized, adjustments were made to the forms and the development of a comprehensive typographic system began.
