Analte" is a typography created to be the graphic tool to tell the memories of the culture of the southeastern region of Mexico. "Analte" (from Analte'o' = "text" in Mayan), seeks to represent the Mexican and the Mayan. It is inspired by Mayan architecture: pyramid angles, straight cuts and arches. The "Analte" typeface is a neutral neo-Grotesque, has a larger typographic color, straight vertices, straight lower and upper cuts in its stroke. It has a system of aesthetic ink traps, condensed counterforms, modern proportions with classical features. It has major diacritics and has a set of Latin basic characters as well as Spanish ligatures and for Mayan texts. It has 3 weights: bold, regular and light, which together add up to 894 glyphs.
