Bandita is a handwritten font with a carefree personality that emulates the writing in diaries and personal notes using a medium nib felt tip.

Inspired by the uppercase letters of 1960s comic book letterers and the boldness of independent comic lettering, it features gestural and expressive strokes.

Its generous x-height facilitates legibility on mobile devices, and its slight condensation allows for a higher number of words per line. The modulation in its stroke evokes the variation in pressure applied to the writing tool, while overlapping strokes emulate a hand-drawn style.

It features three stylistic variations and 960 glyphs that lend naturalness and spontaneity to the letters, as well as dingbats and ligatures that replicate scribbles and cross-outs.
