Yandex Sans, designed by Miguel Reyes (Commercial Type) and Russian-based designer Ilya Ruderman (of CSTM Fonts and type.today) in conjunction with Christian Schwartz. The typeface family is the corporate typeface of Yandex, the largest online search engine in Russia. Yandex was designed for both interfaces and marketing, and has two families: Yandex Text, in 5 weights and Yandex Sans Display, in 4 weights. A Sans serif with humanistic proportions, open endings and low contrast, the design looks warm and pleasant without being too friendly.
