Breath was developed for a custom typographic project. For certain headlines, a handwritten-style typeface was needed—one that was free-flowing and had a worn look, as if drawn by hand on a chalkboard or a chalkboard with a crayon-textured surface. This led to a font with an organic, textured form, lacking a baseline and featuring an asymmetrical flow that conveys a relaxed feel, resulting in a gestural and laid-back typographic style.
