Three years after the launch of Semilla, Alejandro Paul revisits the work of German lettering artist Bentele to propose a new formal distillation: Bowling Script. This project goes beyond mere digitization to enter the realm of personal historiographical reinterpretation. The typeface acknowledges that the history of design is not a static entity, but rather a malleable narrative filtered through the author’s subjectivity and the current cultural context. Bowling Script moves away from documentary rigidity to offer a more fluid and exuberant interpretation, demonstrating that a single historical reference can give rise to divergent typographic realities depending on the technical and emotional perspective from which it is approached.
