The Distillery collection is an ambitious exploration of the hybridization of calligraphic and typographic styles that have defined commercial graphic design over the past century. The system integrates influences ranging from the rigor of Roman capital letters and the Arts & Crafts movement to the spontaneity of early 20th-century showcards and traditional tattoo lettering. Academically, Distillery positions itself as a visual ecosystem that celebrates “elegant imperfection,” capturing the energy of pencil on paper and the autonomy of independent design. It is a polyphonic suite where the history of hand lettering is synthesized into a digital tool offering high design versatility.
