Autónoma is a typeface family created exclusively for the University of San Luis Potosí’s publishing needs, featuring a postmodern design; it retains the anatomy and subtle contrast of a Renaissance sans-serif, but offers proportions for x-height and descenders that meet current performance and reproduction requirements. Universal, formal, avant-garde, academic, professional, and transparent. The basic family contains four variants ideal for book layout; each is named according to its use within the text hierarchy.
