Carabalí is a typeface of expressive character that articulates serif elements of historical roots with a formal construction that distances itself from modern neutrality. Its curved finials and evident modulation configure a dynamic visual texture, while certain structural variations introduce controlled tensions in the rhythm and proportion of the characters. The typography operates from a logic of mixture and reinterpretation: it combines traditional formal references with graphic decisions that subtly alter the structural stability. In some signs there are deliberate distortions and unorthodox solutions that generate rhythmic interruptions and reinforce their authorial character. This strategy of hybridization and formal displacement places it within a postmodern tone, understood as an aesthetic posture that privileges quotation, rereading and expressiveness over rationalist uniformity.
