Plasma is the result of a research on legibility in "out-of-round" conditions. All aspects of the font were analyzed and the font was designed using proportions, weights, contrasts, unions and spacing to facilitate the recognition of words and characters.
The result is a font without skids, with medium contrast, wide eyes and open endings. In some characters such as 't' and '$', unnecessary strokes were avoided in out-of-focus conditions.
