Semiserif? Semi-sans? Emerging from the nebulous border between Sans and Serif, Integra aims to integrate both styles in a fresh, elegant and contemporary way. With its stylized anatomy, flared terminals and almost non-existent straight lines, Integra is inspired by the accentuated, modulated, sans-serif letterforms incised on the early 15th century ledger tombs of the church of Santa Croce in Florence, and the neoclassical inscriptions of the Stourhead Grottoes in England, dating from the mid-18th century. Integra, however, gives a contemporary, even futuristic twist to these references by presenting original and bold shapes in key letters such as L, E and X; as well as with the modern and generous proportions of its lowercase letters; infusing it all with a fluid, luminous and Latin American feel. Integra is available in various weights and italic styles, for text composition and expository use. Its rounded counterforms and arched shapes give texts a spacious, orderly and architectural appearance, perfect for sophisticated content. *(1995)
