Texturina is a highly applicable typeface, which intends to update certain aesthetic elements of calligraphy, into a contemporary type system. It adds a gentle aspect to the typical rigidness of Blackletter. By combining broken and softened curves, it presents the richness of Blackletter, and the fluidity of Roman. The ductus and other key features of gothic ‘textura’ have been technically adapted to function perfectly in extended prose works. It is aimed to be used in contemporary literature, such as in short-story books. Designed by Guillermo Torres Carreño & Omnibus-Type Team.
