Xicali Deco is a display typeface inspired by the Art Deco movement of the 20's. The geometric contrasts marked in the round characters are the differentiator of the typefaces of this style, but retains its essence keeping its condensed form and little spacing between characters. The name comes from the inspiration taken from the renovation of the Cinema Curto in the city of Mexicali, playing with the colloquialism of the place, it was changed to Xicali. Since it is a display typeface, it is planned to be used in headlines or secondary phrases in large formats, taking as a starting point the 24 pts. minimum.
