Cervantes Black is a typeface designed especially for the Cervantino International Festival 2025. In addition to its geometric character, it incorporates icons and ornaments created specifically to enrich the visual identity of the event. Its origin is found in the MiniBlock typeface (2010), from which it takes up the modular structure, but with improvements in the spacing and height of the lowercase letters to favor legibility and dynamism in contemporary contexts.
The design is based on a rigorous system of proportions that ensures coherence between horizontal and vertical modules. This precision allows internal and external spaces to align harmoniously when forming words and phrases, generating a uniform visual rhythm that combines expressive strength and communicative clarity.
