Entorno is a sans serif variable typeface family designed for signage systems and digital environments. It was created to meet the formal requirements of signage, public transportation networks, maps and simulations.
Conceived as a high-performance typeface, Entorno achieves a conceptual balance between geometric precision and humanistic warmth. Its design moves between the examples of Nerdinger and Frutiger, while retaining the functional spirit of DIN.
As a variable signage font, it is constructed with a multidimensional approach, addressing potential legibility issues at sharp viewing angles and in difficult conditions.
