Thyrsa is not simply a "revival", but takes on the style of the letter on the cover of the 1829 book "The Misfortunes of Elphin". Designed to work in poster size with a wide horizontal aspect ratio, its pointed features and ends give it a strong character, and it has some alternate characters that give it personality. Its multilingual uppercase set was presented during the "Ladies Type & Logos CDMX" talk on July 11, 2020. It was developed to support the creative industry during these confining times and is a font that promises enjoyment. One particularity of Thyrsa is its decoration, originally conceived with only the tall letters. However, when they were completed, when designing the feminine ordinal "a", we realized the beauty of the design of the letter "y", which led us to develop the lowercase letters to complete the font and be able to market it.
