Marseille is a typeface that reinterprets the spirit of French humanist typefaces from the 1960s with a modern, handcrafted touch. Its generous x-height, delicate serifs, and balanced proportions create a refined and timeless aesthetic. Crafted with precision, it offers weights ranging from thin to black, along with a poster variant that elevates spaces with compact and dynamic compositions. It features alternative glyphs that expand its versatility, enhance visual flow, and ensure a harmonious design, offering a repertoire of 575 glyphs that invite you to “dream big and design with attention to detail.” Based in Concepción and Santiago, Chile, the founders of Latinotype state: “Our goal is to design new typefaces by blending diverse influences related to our South American identity with high-quality products for the contemporary design industry.” And the duo has been doing just that since founding their type foundry in 2007.
