Iván Castro is a graphic and type designer from El Salvador; while much of his career has been spent working for ad agencies, large corporations and commissioned visual identities, he has always pursued self-initiated graphic and type-related projects to explore both analog and digital approaches. In 2022, he completed the TypeWest Online Program and has been crafting typefaces and concepts ever since. He is also the co-founder of Cabinete, a design collective that seeks to be a platform for Central American type projects.
