Rudolf von Larisch, Austrian type designer, devised Plinius as an exclusive typeface for his country's Imperial Royal Printing House. Lakhos is the most recent revival of Plinius. It attempts to retain the characteristic features of the representative humanist serif of the early 20th century. At the same time, gives a new perspective on how its representation in vintage print can be translated into today's media, focusing on the coherence of form, proportion, and color.
