Drawn for Francesco Franchi's redesign of La Repubblica, and remains the main headline after a reworking of the newspaper. It is a fairly faithful rendition of Bodoni, but the softness of the serifs and subtly rounded corners give it a nice warmth, making it look like a phototype. The main historical source Miguel referenced were the smaller 16-point and 24-point specimens in a facsimile of Giambattista Bodoni's 1818 Manuale Typographico definitivo.
