Note. Specimen of the typeface RunRun. Copyright by Quintana fonts.

RunRun is a minimalist typeface family for handwritten text with a relaxed rhythm, consisting of three weights with subtly different thicknesses, also available as a variable font. Despite its informal appearance, RunRun was designed to work well in immersive reading texts, such as graphic novels, comics, or children’s books, which is why it features an extensive set of glyphs that includes many typographic refinements, such as small caps, various figures, ligatures, and contextual alternatives. In addition, we’ve added a set of face emojis to complement the font family’s applications and mood ;-) “Run Run” is the name given in Chile to Hymenops perspicillatus, a bird native to south-central South America; it is also the title of a popular song by Violeta Parra (“Run Run se fue pa’l norte” / “Run Run went to the north”), and the name of a children’s game that uses a button and yarn that is unwound by pulling on it.
