Telephone is a cute, slim typeface with a handwritten flow and versatile simplicity. Inspired by curly telephone wires and climbing vines, it effortlessly connects words with big feelings and, hopefully, people.
The lowercase is charming and simple, making any word look clean and distinctive. And by adding an initial capital letter, it evokes 20th century business writing, but with a modern twist.
As a confident typeface should be, Telephone has extreme vertical proportions: a reduced x-height allows ascenders and descenders to own their fair share of space, lending an air of elegance to lines of text.
Teléfono shines when set large and when given room to play - we hope you enjoy it! Teléfono is designed in Puebla, Mexico with love by Miguel Contreras and with typographic direction by Romina Hernández.
