Much like the impossible figures and optical illusions of M.C. Escher, "Denedo" is a typeface that is impossible to construct in three dimensions because it exists only as a drawing. This typeface is based on the characters "0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9" from one of the alphabets published by Nedo Mion Ferrario in the "Letromaquia" exhibition, which was held in Caracas, Venezuela, in the 1970s.
