Iris is a typeface that finds its inspiration in the renowned fashion designer Iris Van Herpen. Herpen is widely recognized in the fashion industry as one of the most talented and visionary minds. Her work not only encompasses fashion, but also extends to other forms of artistic expression, including typography.

The Iris Regular typeface seeks to convey the essence of Van Herpen's creations, which often explore the duality between nature and technology. This duality is reflected in the typeface through two fundamental aspects: its calligraphic nature and its systematized typographic design.

On the one hand, Iris's calligraphy evokes the organicity and fluidity of nature. This quality is manifested in the curved and elegant strokes that characterize the typeface, recalling the delicacy of natural elements.

On the other hand, the typographic design of Iris brings a sense of order and precision, reminiscent of technology and systematization. The carefully crafted details and coherent structure of the typeface reflect the meticulousness and innovation associated with Van Herpen's work.
