Alameda is a typography that recaptures the visual character of 20th century ornamental architecture, specifically inspired by the façade of the Cineteca Alameda, a building designed by architect Carlos Crombé in 1941 in San Luis Potosí. Its design combines classical elements with unique decorative details, such as circular terminals that evoke late Art Deco hardware and geometric shapes. This fountain stands out for its retro elegance and its clear reference to the Mexican cinematic imagery of the mid-1800s, evoking movie posters, theater marquees and handbills. Alameda is ideal for projects that require a nostalgic atmosphere with a strong visual identity, such as titles, cultural posters or editorial proposals with a historical accent.
