Human Max is a reinterpretation of the typeface known as “Study for a Typeface for Machines and Humans,” originally designed by Max Bill. This font complements Hofmann Grotesk, drawing on its proportions and sharing its origins, but adapted with a contemporary geometric finish. Bill’s original work has been transformed into a typographic system that prioritizes readability by distinguishing key characters, making it easier to read complex and lengthy texts.

Human Max is presented as a Display font that includes new designs and interpretations of the original system, offering functionality with stylistic alternates, ligatures, punctuation marks, symbols, numerals, accents, and more.
